Empowerment of women
Donate for the skill acquisition and economic empowerment of the less privileged women and widows. 10 women will be trained on the skills. it will cost $3,000 to train and acquire the equipment to set up a small scale business to the women. we need your support
we do not only train these women on skill acquisition, there will also be ongoing mentorship and map out plans to ensure they get help to follow through on starting and sustaining their business. We set up network for monthly quarterly meetup with these women to ensure that they have after training mentorships and support to help them succeed in their business ventures

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Mental health problems affect children, adolescents and adult. It is estimated that 60 million Nigerians have mental health disorders.30% of children and adolescents have mental health disorders. Disturbingly, most Nigerian children and adult who experience mental health problems never had any appropriate treatment at a sufficiently early age. Suicide rates are increasing in Nigeria as a result of mental health problems, yet nothing is done to create awareness on the danger of mental health disorders in children and adult. Half of mental health disorders start at the age of 14. Oasis of Love International center for Women and Children (OLIC) understands the dangers of mental health in children, and adolescents if left untreated. Therefore we educate and create awareness of mental health disorders in schools, communities, churches and homes in Nigeria. We seek for your support to improve the psychological and emotional well-being of the children. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (WHO, 1984).
Mental health assessment and treatment
At OLIC we provide highest evidence base treatment that is tailored to the unique need each child. We are committed to making treatment accessible. We work beyond the office to make a difference in the lives of a child. We work with a child in environment where the challenges occur. We partner with teachers, caregivers, parents and others to provide a child the support he needs. We provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment of child and adolescent mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, PSTD, ADHD, learning disabilities, eating disorders, behavioral problems, OCD, externalizing behaviors and emotional problems in children and adolescents. We also provide psychological care for children who are victims of child abuse, child labour, child prostitution and trafficking. We need your support to reach out to more children and adolescents who suffer from mental health disorders. To treat one child it cost 150 US dollars. Campaign against child abuse, exploitation and violence
OLIC has been on the forefront on the campaign against any form of child abuse, exploitation and violence. Every child has right for dignity. child abuse. Every form of child abuse, exploitation and violence has a harmful effect on children and adolescents, abuse leave emotional, physical, and psychological scars on the children. Child abuse and neglect lead to poor physical and mental health problems. A lot of children in Nigeria are victims of abuse even from parents and caregivers. It is considered normal in our society and nothing has been done about it. It is time for us to speak up and say no to child abuse. We all have a role to play in eliminating all form of abuse, exploitation and violence against children. At OLIC we campaign against child abuse; we encourage children to speak up when they are victims of child abuse. We encourage the parents of the child to seek help for the children to improve their well-being.
